Hi, I'm Adriano Schneider. I am a researcher interested in Infectious Diseases and Global Health.
Adriano Schneider's Bio:
Adriano Schneider (Adriano de Bernardi Schneider) received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences by the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil in 2009 and a Master of Science degree in Crop Science through the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul also in Brazil in 2012. Adriano also did part of his masters research in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) from the United States Department of Agriculture in Aberdeen, Idaho. In early 2013, Adriano became a student of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC), studying the PhD course of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Also, he joined the Plant Pathways Elucidation Project (P2EP), where he was involved as a Ph.D. Student and Team Leader to discover and describe novel health-promoting plant compounds from early 2013 until mid 2015. Starting in mid 2015 he shifted gears and moved his skill sets to a new field, evolutionary biology working under Belk Distinguished Professor Dr. Daniel Janies at UNCC, where he got involved with flavivirus research, focusing on Zika virus research.
